This campaign was launched because P&G was awarded to sign a sponsorship deal with the 2010 Olympic Games US Committee. They wanted to unify P&G's brands under their common denominator, Moms.

Every mom does everything in their power to provide and help their children, picking them up when they fall, drying their tears, encouraging them and finally watching them achieve their deserved victory. Behind an Olympic Athlete, there's a mother who did all these things to see them where they are now.
The Hardest Job, The Best Job
When people realize some brand is from P&G they feel better about the brand, and when they know P&G has all these brands, they feel better about P&G. With this campaign P&G. This particular commercial follows the beginnings of young athletes from all around the world and it makes the audience realize that the hard working moms behind these winners have a not so different life, no matter where they live, they will always put their son or daughter first.
Mom Saw Their Potential
The campaign used commercials as short clips with a story. P&G knows that getting to the Olympic Games begins at childhood and that on each of these athletes’ journeys to the finish line, there was one person cheering for them louder than anyone…their moms. P&G is in the business of helping moms, not just moms of Olympians, all moms, all around the world. So they're using their voice at the Olympic Games to thank moms everywhere
