Heartworm Disease Doesn't Stop For The Holidays

Please Consider Making A Donation To Save Jake And Other Dogs That Need Medical Care

We have two more heartworm positive dogs that will be starting treatment this week-Jake, a lovable 1.5 year-old Boxer who's pictured here and Ryder, a big 2-3 year-old Black Lab.

A lot of dogs start testing positive for Heartworm in the winter months since it takes 6 months for adult worms to develop once a dog is bitten by a mosquito in the spring/summer months. Many rescues will not take heartworm positive dogs but we try to help as many as we can afford to, already 27 this year!

Canine Lifeline operates strictly on donations so our ability to save these dogs is entirely dependent upon the generosity of friends and supporters like you. Rather than shopping for "stuff" that your friends and family don't really need, please consider giving the gift of a second chance this year to a dog that needs extra medical care to survive. All donations to Canine Lifeline are tax deductible.
