John Brown was born into a deeply religions family in Torrington,Connecticut in 1800. John Brown was man of action- a man who would not be deterred from his mission of oblishing slavery. John Brown was ardent abolitionist who worked with the Underground Railroad the league Gileadites. In 1858 Brown liberated a group of enslaved people from a Missouri home stand and helped Guide them to freedom in Canada.
