Newtons 1st law states," An object at rest stays at rest, unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object in motion stays in motion at the same speed and direction, unless acted on by an unbalanced force." This is demonstrating the first law because the object is at rest and it is not being acted on by unbalanced force. The forces are balanced. The force of gravity and normal force are both acting on it.
Newton's second law states, "When a force acts on an object, it will cause the object to acceleration. ( The larger the mass of the object, the greater the force will need to be to cause it to acceleration.
The rocket on the back of the car is the force that makes it accelerate. The forces are unbalanced so the car accelerates. Friction is smaller than the applied force of the rocket.
Newton's 3rd law states, "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. In this case, the example is dribbling a basketball. As the basketball falls due to gravity, that is the first action. Then when it hits the floor, that is the equal and opposite reaction. The hand is the applied force here.
