Ethan Allen boat tragedy
On October 3, 2005, boat Ethan Allen capsized on lake George, New York. On that day the temperature was about 70 degrees. The Ethan Allen carried 47 passengers and most of the passenger are from Michigan and Ohio. when the boat tipped over, 20 passengers lost their lives and other were injured. Survivors told authorities that they slid to one of the boat. The boat was own by Shoreline Cruses when it tipped over. Year of lawsuits followed and owner John panzella said he brought the boat once. The Ethan Allen tipped over because it was overloaded. Witness claimed the wave of a larger vessel, the Mohican, caused the boat to roll over and sink.
