SERVING

Introduction

Serving is one of the most important subjects in the game. The reason why serving is one of the most important subjects in volleyball is because you would have to throw the ball up in the air and hit it like you would if it was coming right at you and you wouldn’t know if it was going over the net or not. But since we have serving we would have a pretty good idea if it was going over the net or not. The 2nd reason it’s one of the most important subjects in volleyball is because that if you had to throw the ball up in the air and hit it like you would if you were trying to get the ball over the net in time since it was coming right at you. You would have very little time to get your hands and feet moving and get to where the ball went and hit it in time. Another important thing is you have to stay focused on the ball at all times or else one wrong move and the whole serve will get mess

There are too ways to serve overhand and underhand both can be easy and  both can be hard especially if its your  first time trying to serve. When you’re in a game you can serve either way you want you can serve underhand the whole time or overhand the whole time or you can switch back and forth every time it’s your turn to serve it’s all up to you on that choice. When you serve there’s a black line you have to serve behind if you don’t I think it’s an out I’m not for sure though. The only time you can serve over the black line is if it’s your first year in volleyball but that’s only for a few games until you can get it at least a little over the net. But after that you have to stand far enough behind the black line so your foot only goes over the line a little when you take a step forward for the serve. Also when you’re serving either way you serve you have to take a step forward because it’s part of the serve and it helps you get closer to the net so you don’t get in trouble with the ref. when you take a step forward the reason you do it is because it’s part of the serve. Another thing is that when your serving you’re always in the last square so that means you’re in the 6 square. When your finished  serving you have to go out on to the sidelines until it’s your turn to play again.Overhand serving can be easy but you have to put a ton of power into hitting it but not too much power or you will get an out another thing is that it can be hard too. But sometimes if you don’t put
