Educational games can be a great tool to help students practice the skills they have learned in the classroom. FunBrain allows students to use their knowledge and apply it to online educational games in a variety of subjects.
One game I particulary liked was Cut It! This games can be used for early elementary aged students to practice their adding and subtracting skills in a face paced, competitive nature. In this online game there was no gender bias found. While certain students may excel more in mathmatics than others I do not believe that this is based on gender differences but rather comprehension and ability differences. Many of the games I explored on FunBrain appear to be appealing to both male and female students alike.
