  • Strong houses, Cherokee houses are called hogans.  
  • Builds homes out of branches, Rivercane, Plaster, and also with thatched roofs
  • Mens go on hunting trips
  • Women grinded corn
  • Terrific hunters
  • When done working/they relax by playing games
  • Important tool is stone adzes
  • Canoes were important for Cherokee transportation
  • Some families have smaller houses
  • Used bow ‘n arrows and  blowguns
  • Cherokee also had pipe carving,rivercane baskets,ground art,and pottery
