Where is a Boa Constrictor From
The Boa Constrictor is a species that is large, heavy-bodied snaked. It is also a member of the family Boidae found in North, Central, and South America, as well as some islands in the Caribbean.
Boa Constrictor Food?
The are carnivores so they eat on the flesh of anything. Prey includes a wide variety of small to medium sized mammals and birds. The bulk of their diet consists of rodents, but larger lizards and mammals as big as ocelots are also reported to have been consumed. Young Boa constrictors will eat small mice, birds, bats, lizards and amphibians.
Boa constrictors have adapted to a variety of habitats but are most often found in rainforest clearings or edges. They also inhabit woodlands, grasslands, dry tropical forest, thorn scrub, and semi-desert.
