The Moon's Role

Lunar phase or phase of the moon is a stage of changing that takes about 28.5 days to change from New Moon to Full Moon. The types of moons are, Full Moon, New Moon, Waxing Gibbous, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Third Quarter, Waning Gibbous, and Waning Crescent. Tides is the rising and falling of ocean water that occurs every 12.5 hours or so. The tides that occur are Spring and Neap tides. The Neap tides only occur during First Quarter and Third Quarter Moons, and Spring tides occur during Full Moons and New Moons. An Eclipse is an object in space that comes between the Sun and a third object causing something. There are two types of Eclipses, Solar and Lunar eclipses. The Solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes directly between Earth and the Sun, blocking sunlight from Earth. The Lunar eclipse occurs at a Full Moon when Earth is directly between the moon and the Sun.

Like I said from the beginning, the phases of the moon are, Full Moon, New Moon, Waxing Gibbous, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Third Quarter, Waning Gibbous, and Waning Crescent. We have moon phases because of revolution, rotation, and Earth is tilted 23.5 degrees on its axis. Moon phases affect us on Earth because they help us by turning day and night, and if we didn't have the moon phases we maybe wouldn't ever have day or night.

The types of tides that there is are Neap Tides and Spring Tides. Tides are the rising and the falling of ocean water that occurs every 12.5 hours or so. Neap Tides only occur during First Quarter and Third Quarter Moons but Spring Tides occur during New moons and Full Moons. Tides occur because of the gravitational force that pulls on the Moon makes this happen. These type of Tides affect Earth because they sometimes lower and get higher while some people want to go throught there with ships or something.

An Eclipse is an object in space that comes between the Sun and a third object causing something else. These eclipses occur frequently because of the Sun going in between with other objects too. The first type is Lunar Eclipse, which occurs at a Full Moon when Earth is directly between the moon and the Sun. The second type of Eclipse is Solar Eclipse, which occurs when the moon passes directly between Earth and the Sun. There is also the Total Solar and Partial Solar Eclipses. Eclipses do affect Earth because a Total Solar Eclipse affects the eyes.

Without the moon Earth would be a disastrous universe and it would be horrible. There would also not be any tides at oceans in the shorelines, which would kind of suck. The moon is so important to us because it helps us to have light in the night and it is so beautiful. The moon helps to stretch the core, keeping it warm. Land will be destroyed without tides and the sea of 1 to 2 km deep will cover the whole planet, and life will not be various. It is so important because the moon helps us have eclipses and some people enjoy seeing the eclipses, even though some are dangerous for the eyes. In conclusion, Earth without the moon will be like any ordinary planet around us.
