Louis Armstrong

           Louis Armstrong was a very courageous, creative, and a talented man. After shooting a gun off on New Years Eve in celebration, Armstrong was arrested on spot and taken to Colored Waif’s Home for Boy. Considered one of the most influential artists in jazz history, he is known for songs like "Star Dust," "La Via En Rose," and "What a Wonderful World." He not only learned how to play the Cornet, but also the Trumpet. Armstrong formed 8 different bands including the Hot Five and the Hot Seven. He founded the music now known as Jazz, and also laid down many rules for it. Not only could he play two instruments but he could also sing.
