Troops to Iraq that don't fight?
Isis is a terrorist group located in eastern Syria and northwestern Iraq. With many enemies and few allies, this group is making quite a name for themselves. ISIS wants to create an Islamic state stretching from parts of Iraq to parts of Syria. The U.N. does not, and most likely will not, recognize ISIS as an Islamic state. “If a jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms, that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant.” said Barak Obama talking to The New Yorker when they asked wether al-quaeda, an ally of ISIS, still poses a threat to the U.S. Recently, in retaliation to the opposition, ISIS has killed many innocent individuals, more recently, a British aid worker, David Haines. Due to all of these horrible things, U.S. president, Barack Obama has sent air strikes against this terrorist organization. to further combat the growing problem, Obama has sent a large number of troops to Iraq and Syria to train local troops better so that they can fight the oppressors.
