Popular Sites and Attractions in Playa del Carmen
Richard Pascuzzi, an experienced financial management professional, is the principal at Prospera Financial Services and co-founder of PSE Wealth Management. When he is not helping families develop financial plans, Richard Pascuzzi enjoys traveling with his wife to exotic locations like Cancun and Playa del Carmen in Mexico.
Offering a unique Caribbean feel, Playa del Carmen’s wide variety of activities makes the location a great place for both relaxation and adventure. The area’s Mayan ruins are extremely popular with tourists. Located on the Yucatan peninsula, the city is also near Coba, Chichen Itza, and Tulum. Tulum is especially interesting to visitors because it was one of the last cities inhabited by the Mayans, and it is located on the coast near a limestone cliff that offers unique views of the surrounding area. Playa del Carmen is also near several caves with underground rivers and lakes. Several areas have collapsed roofs that create entrances to the caves.
Within the city of Playa del Carmen, walking along 5th Avenue, locally known as La Quinta, is a popular activity for both locals and vacationers. The majority of the street is for pedestrians, and it features small shops and boutiques selling everything from clothes and souvenirs to handcrafted items and silver. The street is also full of open air restaurants that add ambience, and the various nightclubs offer an active nightlife for adult visitors.
An Overview of the CWS Designation
Richard Pascuzzi of Dallas, Texas, is a principal at Prospera Financial Services and as the cofounder of PSE Wealth Management. Over the course of more than 20 years in the business, Richard Pascuzzi has drawn on his financial education, which he garnered from the Dallas/Fort Worth-area Texas Christian University, and the knowledge he has gained through the Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS) certification and continuing education process.
The CWS designation was established in 2007 as a resource for financial professionals seeking more effective methods of communication and collaboration with both clients and a client’s complete team of financial advisors. The CWS learning process makes use of several different resources, ranging from in-class lessons under the guidance of a skilled instructor to self-taught online sessions and study guides.
After a financial professional has completed the various stages of CWS education, he or she must engage in a CWS Capstone Project. The project serves as a cumulative reflection of an individual’s understanding of wealth management, different financial formulas and services, and interaction skills critical to an effective advisor-client relationship. Following graduation, CWS diplomates must engage in 33 hours of continuing education every 24 months.
