About Richard Pines
A psychiatric professional with a broad background of formal training and expertise, Dr. Richard Pines holds a doctor of osteopathy from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University. Furthermore, he earned a master of arts in developmental psychology as well as a bachelor of science in biology and psychology at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Most recently, Dr. Richard Pines utilized his formal training as a consulting psychiatrist with a number of mental health organizations based in Idaho, including Access Behavioral Health. Prior to this, he worked as a consulting psychiatrist at Northwest Children’s Homes in Lewiston, Idaho.
An active participant in his local community, Dr. Richard Pines dedicates time, energy, and resources to a diverse variety of organizations. These include St. Alphonsus Behavioral Health, the Northwest Children’s Home, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Furthermore, he supports and advocates for Boy’s Town and the Idaho Shakespeare Society.
