About Richard Voytas

An experienced trial attorney, Richard Voytas manages his own law firm, Voytas & Company, in St. Louis, Missouri, where he concentrates his practice on representing clients who are filing lawsuits against large corporations. He and his colleagues handle cases involving issues like wrongful death and auto accidents as well as class action litigation. While representing clients, Richard Voytas conducts a wide range of legal activities, such as researching defective products and investigating injuries. He also develops litigation pleadings, conducts client interviews, and engages in jury trials. Since founding his firm in 2011, he has earned numerous positive settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients.

Voytas gained much of his industry experience as an associate attorney at Polsinelli Shughart, P.C., for eight years. While in this role, he primarily handled complex commercial lawsuits and represented clients in state and federal courts.

In addition to serving as an attorney at Polsinelli Shughart, Richard Voytas was also an associate professor at Fontbonne University for a number of years. He taught law, economics, and finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. In recognition of his contributions as an educator, he was nominated for the 2006 Joan Goosetree Stephens Teacher of the Year award.
