Dedicated Community Leader and Administrator Rick Conner
Educated as both an engineer and a business professional, Rick Conner holds dual bachelor of science degrees from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He went on to serve successful tenures as a city manager and/or a director of public works for a number of U.S. cities. Rick Conner most recently oversaw all daily civic operations as the interim city manager of the City of Fruitland Park, Florida. While employed by the city, he spearheaded negotiations for a preliminary contract with The Villages. The contract ultimately doubled the size of Fruitland Park within two years.
In addition to his work in the public sphere, Rick Conner has supported a number of charity and community service organizations, including NOAH and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He has also mentored middle school children and assisted senior citizens through a variety of local organizations. Mr. Conner also currently lends his support to several animal protection agencies.
