University and Foundation Relations Administrator Rick Rosenberg

Rick Rosenberg has more than 25 years of experience in developing the foundations of academic institutions. Having joined the Gettysburg College Foundation, Government, and Faculty Grants Office as senior associate director in 2008, Rick Rosenberg was promoted to his current position as director in 2010 for his work in increasing faculty grant submissions.

Prior to joining Gettysburg College, Rick Rosenberg served as a director of corporate and foundation relations at Bucknell University, just north of his home in Mechanicsburg, PA. During his five-year tenure at Bucknell, he was successful in raising $2.4M in congressional appropriations. In his previous positions, Rick Rosenberg successfully secured multimillion-dollar grants for endowed professorships and scholarships, as well as dozens of six-figure grants for research proposals and facility renovations.

An avid singer in his free time, Rick Rosenberg has performed with several community choruses throughout the Mechanicsburg area, most recently with Kol Haneshama, an a cappella chorus in nearby Harrisburg. He received his bachelor of arts with distinction in economics and political science from Stanford University, and his master of public administration from Princeton University.
