What We do

My business, Shake Your World, will focus on the selling of some fantastic shakes that will be enjoyable by everyone you know. We specialize in making from scratch milkshakes. We sell both chocolate and vanilla flavored milkshakes.

My Restrictions

The amount of chocolate milkshakes I can make per month is no more than 300 while I cannot make more than 375 of the vanilla milkshake. I have a spending cap of $750 per month.

Costs to Produce the Milkshakes

It costs $1.35 to make the chocolate milkshake with fresh ingredients, while it takes $.70 to make a vanilla milkshake. I can sell both milkshakes for $3.

Equations

x=chocolate milkshakes, y=vanilla milkshakes

x≥0, x≤300

y≥0, y≤375

.70x + 1.35y ≤ 750

Equations of the Profits We Make

The cost to produce = .70x + 1.35y

The profit of milkshakes sold = 1.65x + 2.3y

Total profits = The profits made - cost to produce

Max Profits

(300, 375)

1.65 (300) + 2.3 (375) = $1357.5 per month

(0, 375)

1.65 (0) + 2.3 (375) = $862.5 per month

(300, 0)

1.65 (300) + 2.3 (0) = $495 per month

It would give me the most amount of profit if I sell the max of 300 chocolate shakes and 375 vanilla shakes a month.
