Levels of the Organism
The cell is the basic unit of structure and function of a living thing. Single celled, Multiple celled organisms and the amoeba.
Tissues are made of a group of similar cells that work together to do a specific job in the body. Muscle, Nervous, and connective tissues.
Organs are made up of two or more tissues that work together to do a specific job. The heart is a organ which is made of all the tissue.
Organ Systems- An organ system is a group of organs working together to perform particular jobs. Circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous system.
Organisms- Sum of all cells, tissues, organs and organ systems makes an organism. An organism is made when a group of organ systems work together. Sum of all the levels.
These levels work together to keep our body moving and keep us alive. They have different jobs, but some are made of each other. If these levels didn't work together, then our body wouldn't work correctly and it would be hard for us to live.
