Aphrodite Goddess of Love
Created By: Ethan Prario an Dominic Esposito
Aphrodite was born rising from the foam off the islands of Cyprus or Kythira. The Greek island of Milos, where the famed Venus de Milo was found, is also associated with her in modern times and images of her are found throughout the island. When originally discovered, her arms were detached but still nearby - they were lost or stolen afterwards. She rose from the waves on a seashell, stepping ashore on Cyprus.
Aphrodite had many power and responsibilities. She can make any male fall in love with her, make other people fall in love, and she could make anything beautiful or lovely.
Aphrodite, The Goddess of Love has many symbols. Some of these symbols are a dolphin, swan, dove, sparrow, seashells, the evening star, the ocean, vanilla, roses, rose, mint, grape, pearls, gold, aquamarine, red, pink and violet.
