Sustainable Construction Manager Ronnie Kroll
Ronnie Kroll keeps abreast of developments in sustainable construction through several organizations. He is currently updating his credentials from Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED), which rates buildings based on their adherence to best practices in green building techniques and sustainable design. Ronnie Kroll also maintains a membership in ASHRAE, formerly known as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers, a 120-year-old building technology society with over 54,000 members around the world dedicated to, among other things, sustainability and energy efficiency in their industry.
Ronnie Kroll maintains responsibility for the company’s day-to-day operations. He supervises human resources, purchasing, sales, and other departments and reviews job costs on a weekly or monthly basis for projects as required. In addition, he oversees the company’s daily cash position and optimizes cash flow with the help of his office manager. Ronnie Kroll’s other duties range from managing risk and negotiating financing to mentoring junior team members and providing direction to the marketing and advertising manager.
Ronnie Kroll also maintains a leadership position in the Waco, TX, chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), a nonprofit trade group founded in 1918 that currently represents more than 33,000 businesses. Ronnie Kroll currently chairs the advisory committee for the AGC’s Central Texas Chapter. The chapter contains a plan room where its members can look at specifications and plans from Waco and the surrounding region. The plan room also offers members access to a number of trade publications, including Texas Contractor Magazine and bulletins from the AGC’s 10 other Texas chapters.
