About Rosemary Giacomelli

Human resources professional Rosemary Giacomelli joined Williams-Sonoma in 2009, bringing with her over 17 years of experience in progressive retail management. Two years later, the California-based company promoted her to senior HR manager, in which role she took on the responsibility of coordinating HR activities for stores in the UK and Australia. Rosemary Giacomelli received her HR Certification from the University of California.

Throughout her career, Rosemary Giacomelli has acquired a wide range of skills. Her current work involves conducting employee investigations, communicating with office locations and personnel outside the country, and collaborating with various departments. She is also skilled in recruiting and retaining staff, resolving disputes as a mediator, maintaining employee relations, and communicating with corporations in a professional manner. Additionally, she obtained several other certifications, including the MBTI certification and training certifications for Lominger International and DiSC.

Ms. Giacomelli engages in many activities that benefit her community and supports charities that address homelessness and hunger. She volunteers at the Taylor Family Foundation in Livermore and at St. Vincent DePaul soup kitchen. Further, she belongs to the organization Share Our Strength, which runs the No Kid Hungry campaign.

Outside her professional life, Ms. Giacomelli enjoys cooking Italian food and traveling to Italy to sample various cooking styles. She also loves Labrador retrievers and has an interest in becoming involved with seeing eye dogs in the future.
