A tornado is a violently rotating column of air that is in contact with both the surface of the earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus cloud. they are very common in the U.S We are in part of the tornado alley. tornadoes are formed by cold and hot air mixing. they are very dangerous and destroys every thing in its path. If the rain ever stop sometime that mean you could be in the middle of a tornado> they can also create floods and fire from the lighting it creates. tornadoes kill many people!!!! if you ever wonder if a tornado is close just look up in the sky for a wall cloud. usually wall clouds means one is close or one is forming there. If a tornado ever touches the ground you need to get to a safe place. some safe places are a closet, a bathroom, or a storm shelter. you always need to remember your food and water if you every go to a storm shelter. WATCH OUT FOR FALLEN POWERLINES OR TREES AFTER A TORNADO!!!!!!!!
