How Do I Know What a Simile Looks Like
A simile is a type of figurative language, in which you are comparing two different things, using words such as like or as. Examples -
1. She dealt with moral problems as a cleaver deals with meat.
2. When he lifted me up in his arms I felt I had left all my troubles on the floor beneath me like gigantic concrete shoes.
3. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
