While doing my experiments, I learned that using vinegar and Epsom salt are faster ways to germinate seeds, rather than planting and watering. I believe the range of acidity affected the growth of the seeds. Vinegar has a pH of about 4, while Epsom salt has a pH of about 6. Water and Dr. Pepper didnt work as fast. Dr. Pepper was the slowest of all the groups. Water has a pH of 7, while Dr. Pepper has a pH of about 3. So in my opinion, for faster seed germination, using solutions that have a pH between 4 and 6 are the best.
