I read the article "Chemistry on the Fast Track. NASCAR uses lots of chemistry to make the cars run as fast as they do. All engines use chemistry when the piston go up and down and make combustion. Chemistry is also used with the tires to make less friction which helps the cars go faster and helps save the tires. Chemistry is used in the how they make safety parts of the car like the windshield and helmets. I am not shocked with how much chemistry is related in NASCAR because I already assumed there was a lot.
