About Russell Todd Crawford
A PhD candidate in psychology with a focus in cognition, Russell Todd Crawford volunteers with several animal rights and protection organizations by attempting to advance the rights and health of animals. He investigates cruelty and neglect of animals, and works to help rehabilitate these animals so that they are healthy and can be placed in new homes. He also educates members of the public on the welfare and conservation of animals. Some of the organizations Russell Todd Crawford supports include the ASPCA, the United States Equine Rescue League, the World Wildlife Fund, and Greenpeace.
From 2007 to 2009, he volunteered with the United States Equine Rescue League, where he worked with two blind horses and many malnourished and scared animals. He even assisted with facial and leg surgery for them.
