If you click on this button above, it will take you to a socrative quiz. This quiz is on Russian Road Safety. That topic may not sound very important, but the facts in the quiz could change that. Russian roads are not as good as they are in the U.S. We take having good roads to drive on for granted. There are many more deaths per year relating to bad road conditions in Russia than there are in other developed countries. This is important because Russia ranks itself as a world superpower, but shouldn't world superpowers at least have good asphalt roads? They may be able to have good roads, but the government needs to help as well. The government does not put enough money into roads. If they did Russia would not lose as many lives than it does

This cartoon shows air pollution problems. Looking at the picture, this could be set anywhere, however this one was directed to Russia. Russia has bad air pollution problems because of their factories. In St. Petersburg, the amount of pollution has lead to people's health problems and environmental problems. An industrial system in Russia is causing major environmental problems according to Anna Kireeva. The company causing all of the problems is Kola Mining and Metallurgy Company. The cartoon is showing the factories in the background. The factories are puffing out pollution.
