Peer Revising & Editing For Short Stories

1. Get 5 colored pencils, and underline the transitions, dialogue, different dialogue tags, descriptive details, and climax in 1 color each
1. Explain your peers; Character development, vivid setting, dialogue, and plot stages ( EXPOSITION, (CONFLICT(INTERNAL/EXTERNAL)), R ACTION, CLIMAX, F ACTION, AND RESOLUTION )
Peer Editing is when you give your story to one of your peers and they answer questions and give you feedback on some of the following..... Questions about your characters, setting, all of the stages of plot, and the conflict ( internal/external ).
Positives: You get the perspective and suggestions from others.
Negatives: Sometimes they take away your originality and they don't always see your story the way you do.
