Florence Joyner

Florence Joyner was born on December 21, 1959 in Los Angeles, California. She was an African-American track and field athlete. Her nickname was Flo-Jo. She was a fashion designer, spokesperson, writer, actress, wife and mother as well as an athlete. She married a man named Al Joyner. He was also an athlete. She has one child named Mary Ruth Joyner.

Flo-Jo was considered "The fastest women of all time." She got her title "The fastest women of all time" after breaking a world record in the 200 m run with a time of "21.34." Florence was known for her 6 inch finger nails and her form-fitting body suits. She died on September 21, 1998 due to an unexpected epileptic seizure.

She designed all of her bodysuits. As well as all of her track memebers.
