The Mongols were divided into different clans until a ruler named Gengis Khan. He unified the clans and his sons and grandsons ruled different region. He set out to conquer different lands in china. Once Gengis Khan died, the mongols controlled much of china but they still kept fighting. They took Persia, Moscow, Poland, and Hungary. They ruled the empire peacefully and adopted Islam. Asia was a stable and controlled place under the mongols.
