History of Apple Products

Tyler Merlino

In 1975 Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak designed the foundation of apple in that very garage.

Their first product was this interesting machine. It lacked many features such as a monitor. Made in 1976.

From the Apple 1 they moved to the Apple 2 of course. As you can see this one came with a monitor and even floppy disc reader! Presented on April 16 1977.

After that the apple 3 was made. Instead of having an external floppy disc reader it had an internal one. The keyboard also featured a separate number pad. Released on May 19, 1980.

In 1984 the first Macintosh was being sold. It featured a mouse, keyboard, and two floppy disc drives. Showing that more is better.

In 1985 Steve Jobs was basically fired from his own company for the failure of the Mac. But then in 1997 he came back and was appointed CEO of the company.

In 1998 the first iMac was created. This was a huge step forward for Apple.

In 2001 Apple created their own operating system called Mac OS X stepping away from third party OS.

Also in 2001 Apple released the iPod. Their first portable MP3 player.

In 2007 Apple releases their first cell phone and iPod mixed. They called it the iPhone.

In 2010 the first iPad was created. It was Apples first tablet.

As you can see Apple has went through many changes throughout the years and have continued updating their products.
