Not giving up in desperate times

Hiroshima when the bomb was dropped. Taken from the Enola Gay.
Hiroshima before and after the atomic bomb was dropped.

I chose this song because it is about rising up after falling, perseverance, and being strong against obstacles and oppositions.

"You shoot me down, but I won't fall "

If I could Help

If I could help the people of Hiroshima after the bomb was dropped on them, I would help them to reach their goal of building 1,000 origami cranes to help them get better. I would also encourage people to never give up and always hope they will get better . I would also try to help people get out from under collapsed buildings and bring them to medical workers.

Hiroshima Poem

The city of Hiroshima

Tense and troubled

For the terror that was yet to come

They came out of the shelters with hope of safety

When the bright light came to

There lives changed

For the good or the bad

They became very sad

Hiroshima turned all black

From the U.S. bomb attack

Ashes fell in living hell

With everyone walking like zombies

The rebuilding process took a while

But eventually a new Hiroshima stood tall and proud

The new Hiroshima shrouds the terror

Of its heir

It's great but there is no video. It's not clear what the theme is.
