Dr. Saeid Shamsian, MD

A highly experienced urologist, Saeid Shamsian, MD, treated patients at his private practice in New York City for ailments ranging from bladder infections and kidney disease to infertility and prostate cancer. Over his medical career, Saeid Shamsian held a number of positions with urology departments at such facilities as Kingsbrook Jewish Hospital, New York Methodist Hospital, and Maimonides Medical Center. A professionally engaged individual, he belonged to the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
Before establishing his urology practice, Saeid Shamsian earned his doctor of medicine from Tehran University Medical School. Subsequently, he trained as a resident in cardiovascular surgery at the Pahlavi Cardio-Vascular Center. He also completed a urology residency at Maimonides Medical Center, where he served as a senior resident and the chief resident.
Dr. Shamsian conducted original urological research, which he published under the titles "Urological Complications After Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery" and "Primary Testicular Lymphoma: Report of a Case and Review of the Literature."
