The Pampulha Museum

Designed by Oscar Niemeyer in 1940, is an overview of modern and contemporary Brazilian art, especially in Minas Gerais, and shows varied artistic trends.

São Francisco de Assis Church

The São Francisco de Assis Church was opened in 1943 and designed by Oscar Niemeyer. It was the last building to be inaugurated on the Pampulha architectural complex.

Casa do Baile

Part of the Pampulha architectural complex, Casa do Baile was reopened in December 2002, becoming the Reference Center on Urban Planning, Architecture and Design.

Governador Magalhães Pinto Stadium

The Governador Magalhães Pinto Stadium is popularly known as Mineirão. It is the second largest indoor stadium in the world. It opened in 1965 and has a capacity of 130 thousand people.
