While the main cliffhanger of the latest Once Upon a Time season finale revolves around Emma, the Darkness, and the search for Merlin, there were other storylines left open to be explored in the new season. While teases are guaranteed to be coming at San Diego Comic-Con in July, fans don’t have to wait until then for information about the upcoming season.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, along with Merlin coming to Once Upon a Time next season, other characters from Camelot will be as well. TVLine posted the details about these characters from the casting calls – Merlin, Arthur, and Guinevere – and that last one has a connection to a character who will be coming back in some form. Guinevere fell in love with Lancelot, who is dead in the present.

However, Entertainment Weekly has reported that Sinqua Walls will be reprising his role as Lancelot – and in multiple episodes – but that is all that has been revealed. He could just be in flashbacks or somehow in the present. Maybe he’s really not dead? Anything is possible on a show set in a world that includes magic.

“Oh man, you can’t go to Camelot and not see Lancelot,” executive producer Edward Kitsis said.

That’s not all you can expect in OUAT Season 5. Remember, last season revealed that Marion has actually been dead since before Emma (supposedly) brought her back to the present with her and instead, Zelena took her place – and when Regina and Emma tracked her and Robin Hood down in New York, they found out she’s pregnant. EW has also revealed that Kitsis said yes when asked if her baby is going to be born. That should make life for that family (and everyone in Storybrooke, really) not only more interesting, but also even more complicated.

Finally, if you’re a OUAT fan attending Comic-Con next month, ABC.com has posted the details of the events you might want to attend. Both the panel and the autograph signing will take place on Saturday, July 11. First up is the panel, 10-10:45 a.m., in Ballroom 20, moderated by Yvette Nicole Brown. The panelists include Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Robert Carlyle, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Colin Donoghue, Rebecca Mader, Sean Maguire, and executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. That is followed by the signing, which will take place 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at Booth 4245. Plus, there will be pedicabs branded for the show throughout San Diego.
