Jim Harbaugh Returns to the University of Michigan

At the end of December 2014, the University of Michigan announced the hire of new football head coach, Jim Harbaugh, formerly of the San Francisco 49ers. He led San Francisco to multiple division titles, as well as a Super Bowl berth in 2012. For his achievements in his first year with the franchise, Harbaugh received the AP NFL Coach of the Year Award. Prior to accepting his position with the 49ers, he guided the Stanford Cardinal to multiple winning seasons, and he coached several now successful professional players including Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts.
