Engineer Scott Stordy Enjoys Staying Active and Coaching Sports
About Scott Stordy
Scott Stordy, a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), maintains an active lifestyle outside of work, often playing tennis and golf. He has also traveled extensively to South America and Europe, and he enjoys sampling and cooking different international cuisines. Also an avid fan of different Boston sports teams, Scott Stordy currently coaches basketball, football, and baseball.
Professionally, Mr. Stordy works in the field of energy engineering. Possessing over 20 years of management and support experience, he began his successful career in 1990, when he worked on a physical plant student co-op assignment at Massachusetts Institute of Technology while simultaneously studying for his bachelor’s degree. After graduating in 1993, he quickly began moving up at the school before leaving in 1998 as an electrical/controls engineer. He then spent four years working as principal at SRS Consulting before returning to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a senior electrical engineer, where he worked until 2007.
From 2007 to 2011, he served as a senior project manager at EnerNOC, Inc., before accepting the same position at Constellation Energy. In 2014, Scott Stordy took on his current position at SAPP Software Services Group, where he holds the title of senior consultant.
