- Christians believe in justification by faith - that through their belief in Jesus as the Son of God, and in his death and resurrection, they can have a right relationship with God whose forgiveness was made once and for all through the death of Jesus Christ. The Trinity.
Christianity is a monotheistic religion, which means followers believe in one God. Christians believe God is the creator and sustainer of the universe (e.g. John 1:1-3, Col. 1:16-17, cf. Gen. 1:1). God is also all-powerful (or "omnipotent"), all-knowing (or "omniscient"), all-present (or "omnipresent"), and all-good (or "omnibenevolent"), according to the Bible. God's other attributes include: holiness, righteousness, immutability (i.e. unchanging), merciful, graceful, and eternal.
Christianity is based on the bible.
The bible is the book with their sacred writing and it has information about how you go to heaven.
This is the symbol of Christianity.
A church is where they worship and meet up.
The holidays are Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday , Easter, Pntecost, Advent, And Xmas.
Christmas is there main holiday.
Christianity started about two thousand years ago in Roman Occupied Palestine. The gospels is the ones who study the life of Jesus and the society he lived in. Bethlehem today is an example of thirty- thousand people which most of them are christians. Christians usually wear clothing with the symbol of christianity which i've said is the cross. A few days after the death of Jesus his body disappeared christians believe he rose from the dead and stayed on earth for another
40 days before going to heaven.
