New York Taxi Industry Manager Simon Garber
For the last 12 years, Simon Garber has served Long Island, New York’s Yellow Cab SLSJET Management Corp., as company president. In this role, he has assisted the organization in establishing a loyal customer base that is drawn to Yellow Cab’s professionalism and efficacy. A large portion of the company’s growth over the years can be attributed to positive word-of-mouth referrals from existing clients. As president, Simon Garber also oversees shop procedures in order to ensure that technician efficiency levels remain as high as possible.
Prior to joining Yellow Cab SLSJET Management Corp., Symon Garber, a member of the Committee for Taxi Safety, spent 17 years as president of Manhattan Taxi Maintenance, a 20,000-square-foot automotive service center. In this role, Symon Garber successfully designed, staffed, and executed the company’s business plan. He additionally operated as the Manhattan Taxi Maintenance managing director, a position that required the ongoing supervision of more than 30 employees.
