Simple Baked Potatoes
Good with a nice steak!
- Butter (or oil)
- Salt (sea salt is the best!)
First, center the rack and preheat oven to 350 F.
Next, scrub the potatoes clean, but keep the skin on and pick out the sprouts if needed.
Now, pierce each potato with a fork or sharp knife at 1 inch intervals, this will let the steam out when baking. If you don't pierce the potatoes, they may explode!
Rub the outside of the potatoes with the butter (or oil) and sprinkle some salt. The butter should make the salt stick.
Place directly on to the rack in the oven.
(Note, if you're cooking more than 4 potatoes, be sure to extend the time a little more, about 15 minutes!)
