Green Eggs and Ham

Hidden implications:

In the story Green eggs and Ham, Dr. Seuss is making a implication that you shouldn't hate something until you try it. This relates to my life and others life because you can't judge something by the way it looks it could be a whole different thing in the inside.  The Main character is annoyed by Sam-I-Am and he tells him over and over "I hate green eggs and ham". Max (the main character) finally tells Sam that"I will try green eggs and ham if you do not bother me any longer". Sam agrees that he will leave him alone if he tries it. Max tries it and likes it and says " Thank you Sam-I-Am for making me try it". This relates to something i've done because I said that I hate cheese but I had never tried it, my dad made me try it and I liked it.

Implication:

In the story Green eggs and Ham, Dr. Seuss is making a implication that, you should try and try again. This relates to my life and others life because if you fail at something just try and try until you succeed.Sam-I-Am keeps annoying the main character to try to get him to try green eggs and ham. Sam says things like "would you eat them on a boat", "would you eat them with a goat" and trying to get him to eat them. Sam finally gets the Max to try it saying " I will try it if you do not bother me", and the main character likes them. Max thanks him saying "thank you Sam-I-Am for making me try green eggs and ham". Max also says that "he would eat them with a mouse" and that "he would eat them on a boat" etc. This relates to my life because I asked my brother if he would pitch to me and I hit the first time he said no, I kept asking him until he finally said yes that he would throw to me.

Summary:

Sam-I-Am keeps trying to get the main character to eat green eggs and ham. The main character keeps telling him no I will not eat them. Still Sam will not leave him alone he keeps annoying him more and more. Finally the main character says that he will try green eggs and ham if Sam leaves him alone, Sam agrees. The main character tries the green eggs and ham and says this isn't that bad, so then he thinks Sam-I-Am for getting him to try it and says I will eat them anywhere.

When in life have you ever tried and tried again until you have succeeded?

I like the implication about trying over and over again. Last year, I tried out for basketball, and I didn't make the team. I was very sad, and I wanted to give up. But I kept practicing and now I am going to try out again this year. I will probably still not make it though. But even if I don't make the team this year, I will try again in high school! I agree with your implications because I have a friend that always says she doesn't like something though she's never tried it.

This relates to my life I thought I wasn't going to like Brussels sprouts until my mom made me try them. Then I realized that I liked them because they are only balls of cabbage.

Once, I saw ocra, and it was all green and slimy, and I didn't want to eat it, but my granny said that I should try it, so I did, and I liked it. It was like what they said on The Lion King. Slimy, yet satisfying.
