Trick or treat
So here we are! Tomorrow is gonna be the most magical, mystical and scariest holiday of the year-Halloween! This is one of my favorite holidays, because, I don't know, on this day I feel the mystery everywhere, in the yellow leaves, that rustle under you feet, in the dark clouds, that make that day be scarier. Unfortunately, in my city not all people celebrate and even know about Halloween, though I have been celebrating it for more than 7 years, since I found out about this holiday. I celebrate it at home, decorating my room, and making my lovely Jack o'Lantern. There is no sense in celebrating it clubs, because you can dance every day, but not in Halloween. So here are the things you can enjoy, doing at home in Halloween!
1. Decorations. Your home or room must be really frightful. Close all the curtains, so as to be dark at the celebrating-place. Lit up many candles in orange and black colors. And, of course, the star of the day Halloween pumpkin-Jack o'Lantern. What a Halloween, without Jack! The other decorations is up to your imagination, do whatever you want as long as it is frightening.
2. Costumes. You can either tell your guests to come already in costumes or make-ups, or you can do it all together. You can announce a competition for the best make-up.
3. Entertainment. First of all, it is telling horror stories to each other. Than you can go to your neighbors, and 'trick or treat' them, and than eat the candies. You can cook special Halloween dishes, or something else. And if you have enough time, you can watch movies. I don't like horror movies, so here are some movies, which aren't very scary, but are in Halloween style.
1. The nightmare before Christmas.
3. The sleepy hollow
4. Corpse Bride
5. Dark Shadows
6. Sweneey Todd
8. The Addams Family
9. The Good Witch
These are the movies, which I like re-watching in Halloweens, but you can also find many other movies, and enjoy them.
And, of course, the song of the day is 'This is Halloween'. My favorite version of the song is the one, performed by Panic! At the disco. The book of the day is The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury.
This is Halloween, my friends, this is your days, so enjoy it doing whatever you want, even it is not written in my composition. I wish you a scary Halloween!
