The Physics of Snowboarding
Snowboarding is a sport with an abundance of extreme physical elements. Every possible move, twist, and turn rely's on the fundamental laws of physics. However, some of the tricks that have been debuted seem almost impossible, nearly defying the laws of physics. The three main physical concepts behind snowboarding are momentum, energy, and motion. Why i chose snowboarding
I chose snowboarding because it is something I am completely passionate about. For me, summer seems to drag on as I wait for winter to come again. I've been snowboarding since I was 13, and before that I had became an avid skier. I also chose snowboarding because there's so many different aspects and elements of this sport that involve physics that it would be an easy topic to cover. Also, since I have personal experience with the sport it makes it that much easier.
Me snowboarding in Vermont this past April!
