How does math relates to Snow cones?

By:Ja'Maya Coleman

The formula for cone is V=π*r2*h/3 and the formula for sphere is V= π*r3*4/3

The radius of a cone is usually 4 inches and the height is 10 inches so you have plug in your numbers to the formula and V=π*42*10/3 which equals 167.5in3

The radius of a sphere is 4 inches so you have to plug in your numbers to the formula and V=π*43*4/3 which equals 267.9in3

Snow cones also relates to 8th grade math because you have to count how many different kinds of syrup there are.
