Alexander Hamilton

By: Spencer A

Alexander Hamilton was one of the seven founding Fathers, John Adams, Ben Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and George Washington. Alexander Hamilton had three main accomplishments that changed colonial history, he was a author of the federalist papers, his military career, and he was the first secretary of the treasury.

His first accomplishment was becoming the commander of the New York Provincial Artillery company. This was not the end of his military career he would also become Washington secretary and would fight in the battle of Yorktown. He wrote the federalist papers with John Jay, and James Madison, this was one of the main things that lead to the first meeting of congress. Finally as the first secretary of the treasury he fully funded the National debt of the Nation.

This shows that Alexander Hamilton had three main accomplishments that had an impact on colonial  history. They were his military career, his writing of the federalist papers and, he was the first secretary of the treasury.

This video is about Alexander hamilton's argument about the treasury department.
