The great campaign "Tap Project" was launched for one simple and great reason: to bring clean drinking water to kids all over the world.

People feeling good

The tap project is a simple way to help kids around the world. This advertisement is just one of the many ads for the Tap Project. In this ad it explains that by simply donating $1 for the tap water you receive in a restaurant you will be providing clean drinking water for a child for 40 days.

Groundbreaking smartphone idea

An innovative way the Tap Project allows people to provide clean drinking water is their new app. The way this app works is you leave the app open on your phone and for every 15 minutes of not using your phone you are providing clean drinking water for kids everywhere. The longer you go without touching your smartphone, the more clean water will be unlocked for children in need.

The best part is your helping children

Either by using the app or just donating a dollar for the free water you get, you are helping kids that are underprivileged and giving them clean drinking water. By doing a simple task you become a hero to a kid who, without your help, might not have lived past their youth. This campaign is the greatest of all time just for the fact that it saves the world.

If this brand were to be worked on today, I would see more social media and technology used, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat all of which get the message across and are effective in their own respective rights. Tyler Dahm

This campaign seems really similar to other charities and their advertisements. A lot of these are similar in the way they use technology. I thought it was interesting how this one uses smart phones.

If was marketing this, I would emphasize that it is sending clean water to people in need, and I would try to appeal to people emotionally. -Alex Anton

I remember seeing these ads and had been reminded of other commercials that engaged with the audience emotionally such as toms the shoe brand. -Kylie Kirsch

@Aanton7 I agree, people who get emotional with a commercial tend to act more strongly about the cause

In addition to facebook, twitter, and snapchat, pinterest can be used to show people benefiting from this app.

If I worked on the current marketing team I would definitely bring back the app or update the app frequently so users are still engaged with it and using it often and sharing info about it. -Mallory Geniesse

I think this is a great use of technology that benefits both underprivileged kids as well as smart phone users. If it was up to me I would with out a doubt update and bring back this campaign/app.
