About Stacy Steinhagen
A broadcast journalist, Stacy Steinhagen serves KEYC-TV of Mankato, Minnesota, in her role as anchor on the 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 pm news. Her responsibilities include reporting breaking and featured news in the field and carrying out duties as a public figure in Mankato and the surrounding communities. Before joining KEYC-TV, Stacy Steinhagen worked as bureau reporter and photographer for WCCO-TV in Alexandria and Minneapolis, Minnesota. While there, she shot and field-produced news for television broadcasts. Earlier, she functioned as an assignment editor for WCCO-TV.
In preparation for her career, Stacy Steinhagen earned a bachelor of arts in journalism from the University of Minnesota. As part of her education, she performed an assignment desk internship at WCCO-TV, where she researched stories and assisted the managing editor and reporters. She also contributed to the St. Paul Pioneer Press as freelance photographer.
Complementing her on-air role with KEYC-TV, Steinhagen serves as chair of sponsorship for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Blue Earth County.
She's also a community volunteer in District 77 to an inspiring group of third graders .
