About Stephen Rathke
Named a Leading American Attorney and included in the list of Minnesota Super Lawyers nine different years, Stephen Rathke also holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating, which acknowledges his high standing among his peers. He has served as president of the Minnesota County Attorneys Association and sat on the Ethics Committee for the Hennepin County Bar Association. Additionally, he holds certification as a civil trial specialist from the Minnesota State Bar Association. At present, Stephen Rathke lends his talents to Lommen, Abdo, Cole, King & Stageberg, P.A., where he has practiced since 1991. At the Minneapolis firm, he assists clients with medical malpractice and product liability matters, and he works with other attorneys facing discipline.
In addition to his experience with Lommen Abdo, Stephen Rathke worked as the county attorney for Crow Wing County in central Minnesota for 17 years. In preparation for his career, he earned a bachelor of arts and his law degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana. While in law school, Stephen Rathke fulfilled the duties of articles editor for the Valparaiso University Law Review.
