About Steve Blalock MO
Between 1987 and 2012, Steve Blalock served as the owner and chief executive officer of Mid-State Seed, Inc., in Marshall, MO. In 2012, he took on the role of general manager. Steve Blalock was named Master Yield Estimator of the West Region in 2008. While remaining in Marshall, MO, his responsibilities at the multi-seed operation have continued to include virtually all aspects of business operations.

When he is not overseeing activities at Mid-State Seed, Stephen Blalock supports charitable organizations such as the Fitzgibbon Cancer Center and the Lyceum Theater in Arrowrock, Missouri.
The YMCA Strong Kids, Strong Families Campaign

The YMCA Strong Kids, Strong Families Campaign is an annual fundraising event that helps YMCAs throughout the United States and Canada raise the money needed to continue the programs that help children, teens, and young adults gain the knowledge and skills needed to attain future success. Among other initiatives, the Salt Fork YMCA uses funds raised through the campaign to provide membership scholarships to youth and adults in need.
Salt Fork’s Strong Kids, Strong Families Scholarship reduces YMCA membership/program fees for scholarship recipients. The scholarships may be granted for a total of 12 months, and recipients may reapply every year with the required documentation.
